i've NEVER met anybody who wears a two shoulder-strap backpack with one strap on their DOMINANT side. every time you reach for something, you use your dominant hand. it is nigh on universal. moving your dominant hand's shoulder UNDER a backpack would feel weird. the bag would be constantly shifting and getting in your way.
